Description

Fishermen on Crowley Lake Reservoir, largest reservoir in the aqueduct system. It has a capacity of 183,465 acre feet. Stamped in black ink on reverse: Please credit Los Angeles City Recreation and Park Dept. Photo. There are three fishermen in a boat in the foreground with many more boats in the background. Maybe this photo was taken on opening day of fishing season given the number of boats on the lake? The Sierra Nevada mountain range are in the background with traces of snow still on the peaks and in the canyons.
