Photo taken of a photo in an album. It is of three people standing up to their ankles in a pool of water with the Inyo mountain range in the background. There is lots of brush surrounding the pool, and on the far side a man-made edge/wall/dam is visible. Someone has written along the bottom edge of the photo, "Wading in the reservoir--but don't tell anybody." Location is likely Manzanar.
The archival photo envelope this item is housed in has a note that says, "Circa 1916. Ethyl Newby Album."
