Photo postcard showing five people standing on the front porch of a house (not quite two stories, maybe a loft above?). It was sent from North Yakima, Washington on October 31, 1913 from Orvill to Joe Newby in Independence. It has a green one cent Washington stamp and two cancellation stamps: one in North Yakima on Oct. 31 and one in Independence on November 4, 1913.
"North Yakima, WA, Oct. 31, '13. Helo [hello] Joe how are the jackrabbits and cottontails. Just got through with the apples. Had 5 ton and better. All crops are good here and prices all way up. Was fishing once am going soon again. This looks natural what. Orvill."Photograph Details
