Photo of two mule teams (four mules each), wagons, and drivers hauling pipes for the construction of the L.A. Aqueduct. The pipes don't appear to be large enough for use on the inverted siphons. Note the drivers appear to be sitting on top of the pile of pipes--no wagon seats.
