Large mounted photo of the John Shepherd house at George's Creek (Manzanar), which was constructed in 1873 and was dismantled by the city of Los Angeles in the 1930s. Photo shows two story house, white picket fence, and a large group of people standing in front of the house. This photo may have been taken c. 1880?
This photo was donated by Eva Lee Gunn in 1935 as A305.1, but was later returned and re-donated by her daughter, Helen Gunn Edwards as A846.1. As of 01/19/2020 it is unframed.Collection
