Copy of a photo of the Fort Hospital building (also called the Cartier House) after it was moved to Independence.
A typewritten piece of paper with the photo says: Residence corner of Kearsarge & Washington, Independence. Residence of Mrs. Dorothy C. Cragen said to be Fort Hospital--moved from fort when buildings were sold. (Disclaimed by Mrs. Ada Bell, please note photo also in this book of wind damaged house storm of Feb. 11, 1923. Built by H.
