Collection of 22 photos taken during the Wedding of the Waters ceremony from October 29-31, 1937. 1975.58.44--Photo of a man walking towards a LADWP float that says "Light, Water, Power." 1975.58.45--Photo of a covered wagon with two people (man and woman) in the front seat. The woman appears to be holding the ceremonial gourd containing water, and she may be Josephine Breen, a descendant of surviving members of the Donner Party. There is a prospector with a burro in front of them, and he may be Sam Ball. 1975.58.46--Photo of two unidentified little girls standing in front of the LADWP float that has a diorama and the words "Light, Water, Power." 1975.58.47--Photo of a covered wagon. It looks like the prospector (Sam Ball?) is passing the ceremonial gourd containing water off to the young woman (Josephine Breen?) in the covered wagon.
