Two copies of a color panorama postcard of Southern Pacific engine no. 18 and tender in Dehy Park in Independence. The photographer was Carlos Elmer and it was published by Columbia Wholesale Supply in Hollywod.
Publisher's blurb on reverse: Old Number 18, Narrow Gauge Railroad Engine, built by Baldwin in 1911, steamed joyously through the Owens River Valley for many years, its whistle reverberating from the Inyos to the Sierra Nevada Mountains. Number 18 now belongs to the Eastern California Museum Association, Independence, a gift of the Southern Pacific Railroad.Photograph Details
