No. 8. This wagon was used for hauling supplies and materials to the construction site and travel between the aqueduct construction camps. Note the larger wheels, high sideboards, and the handbrake. While the Department operated some motorcars and trucks during the aqueduct construction period, their field range was limited so it was the horse or mule-powered vehicles that carried the load. A tool box was located up front. The brake lever is visible.
