Mrs. Horner [Esther Scovil Horner?] was raised in Independence. She went to Stockton as a young girl and took a secretarial course, married there and remained there the rest of her life. She was taught by Mary Austin while here in Independence and remained her friend for life. She passed away on May 26, 1976.Book Details
