From the accession record: Crash of bomber from March Air Force Base. Men in plane were killed. Peak 13,510 glacier. This plane got off course. It was said to be carrying secret documents. This plane was taken out of Birch Lake in October of 1973 by the Sierra Club.Photograph Details
