Photo postcard titled, "50 - Telescope Peak from Devils Golf Course, Death Valley, Calif." taken by photographer Stephen Willard. This postcard was filled out but never sent. The message says, "Dearest: I will be starting home Sunday or Monday. The check will be about $60 instead of $40. Love, Clarence." Marjorie Cremer, the sister of Clarence Pape, added in pen at the top, "Clarence R. Pape, 1894-1933" and in pen in the middle right "1929."
