Description

Color photo of two men posing next to the sign for Leadfield. It says, "This was a mining boom town founded on wild and distored advertising. 300 hopeful people swarmed here and a post office was established in August, 1926. In February 1927 the post office closed and the town died." Written in blue ink on reverse: George and Vic, March 1972, in Titus Canyon.
