Photo postcard of a lone building in a desert. It is labeled, "Guest House, Shoshone, Calif." It was written by Anne M. [maybe Margrave, the County Librarian?] to Bessie T. Best of Independence. It says, "Won't be home before Friday night. X marks the spot where I slept ten hours--or maybe nine--last night." It has a green one cent Benjamin Franklin stamp and a cancellation stamp from Shoshone dated November 10, 193?.Collection
