Photo postcard of a white cross and plaque dedicated to the Donner Party. The sign says, "Donner Cross. A bronze tablet 195 [?] feet south of this cross marks the location of the graves carin members of the Donner Party many of them perished in an attempt to cross the mts. winter of 1846 and 1847. Erected by Truckee Chamber Commerce, 1927." It has ID #3010.Collection
