Panel showing buildings constructed from materials purchased from Manzanar War Relocation Center when it was auctioned off and demolished in 1946. The typewritten labels (and one business card) say: Original buildings and building material were purchased from the M.W.R.C. in the year 1946. Buildings were apartments which housed the caucasian staff and the barrack buildings were those that housed the camp residents who were the war evacuees. Eligible buyers were only veterans of WWII.
