Black and white photo of the Highway Post Office parked in front of the Inyo County Courthouse during its inaugural trip from Los Angeles to Bishop, July 14-15, 1952. Ceremonies were held at all stopping post offices. On this inaugural trip Obsorne A. Pearson, Assistant Postmaster General, was present for festivites.
