Description

Mira Elizabeth Orr. Mrs. Orr maintained a homestead in the Haiwee Meadows area and on several occasions provided overnight accommedations to LADWP engineers and city officials making field tours of the proposed L.A. Aqueduct route. The homestead she eventually sold to the City of Los Angeles became the Haiwee Resevoir.
