This volume, Vol 1, according to the table of contents headings, has: Poems Published 1830; Poems Published in 1832; and English Idyls and Other Poems Published 1842. There appears to be a missing title page. Upon opening the book there is a table of contents for all six volumes which includes a List of Illustrations for each volume as well.
Bound in brown cloth with leather spine which has "Tennyson Poetical Works" embossed in gold with "Vol " and P.F. Collins" near the bottom of spine. Title and author's name is embossed in gold on spine near the top; 7.75" x 5"; pages start at 3 through 285.Collection
