Description

This is a backpacking manual that includes what and why to take on trails, camping, food, equipment, maps, medicine plus burros and burro management. There are appealing illustrations of the wilderness and specific information and instructions regarding the wilderness. Dustjacket is forest green with the title in white letters near top. A free form circle in lower half of page has an image of a fully packed burro facing a person who is pulling on a rope attached to the burro. At the very bottom in green letter with white background is "How to get along on wilderness trails (chiefly in the West)". Paperback bound book; 5" wide x 7 1/2"; 125 pages.
