Mounted nearly full length studio portrait of Julian Eibeshutz as a young man. Photographer was Bushnell of San Francisco.
Written in blue ink on reverse: Julian Eibeshutz, son of Mr. and Mrs. Aaron W. Eibeshutz. Married Clara Reynolds.
Old label says: Julian Eibeshutz was the son of Aaron W. Eibeshutz and Golda Rothschild. They were Independence pioneers. The Eibeshutz family owned a store on the west side of Edwards Street in Independence, location now of Indian Inter-Tribal Council. Julian's wife was Clara Reynolds.
Notes in accession record: Julian Eibeshutz, son of Aaron W. Eibeshutz and Gilda Rothschild Eibeshutz. Julian's maternal grandfather Rothschild owned early dry goods store at Independence on east side of Edwards Street. Moved to west side of street where Intertribal Council located. The museum's Eibeshutz indian beadwork collection belonged to this family. Julian Eibeshutz married Clara Reynolds from an early Owens Valley family.Collection
