The Ebell Magazine, Volume 1, Number 5 published in February 1928. S. Bartlett, the poem "Dawn Songs from the Uplands" by Leetha Journey Probst, "Notes from Ebell's Drama Workshop" by Mrs. A. H. Purdue, and Ebell's French instructor Mlle. Madeline Letessier. The article "Ebell Activities" addresses public attitudes about the Ebell and the number of members in departments. Context

The Ebell Magazine ran from October 1927 to December 1934. Previous issues of the Ebell from 1903 to 1927 were printed as small pamphlets called Bulletins. In January 1935, the Ebell returned to the condensed Bulletin format.
