The Ebell Notes state, "The Ebell appears this month for the first time in its permanent magazine dress. The society hopes to create for it a place among publications of high literary order. This is the ideal toward which we work and no pains will be spared by the society or its officers in rendering it a worthy organ of its literary activity. The cordial greeting accorded this first number is most gratifying to all concerned in its production."Collection
