*Account book of Abby Crandall, accounts with John Hyde, 1847-1850. John Hyde owned and operated a general store in Old Mystic and the accounts cover the purchases of a wide cariety of products including plates, candles, polish, sugar, pork, coal, grain, butter, sheeting, hair pins, matches, etc. Badly damaged by insects.
