Day book of Caleb Williams, 1839. Caleb appears in Groton census records as a farmer and huckster. The day book includes accounts for the sale of groceries and dry goods with both ships and people. The account book was later repurposed as a scrapbook with newspaper clippings featuring local news and obituaries, c. 1880-1893. Also include pages from the family record of Albert and Phebe Avery.
