Photo negatives (5) in envelope labeled "Charles Whittemore." Includes three views of the 4-masted lumber schooner built at the M.B. McDonald & Sons Shipyard at Pistol Point in Mystic in 1905. The vessel later served as a decoy ship targeting German submarines during WWI. One of these photographs was used in an article by Carol Kimball titled "Lumber Ship Had Exciting Job on the Side," and published in The Day on April 3, 2003.
