Admin or Biographical History: Enoch Burrows Pendleton was born in Pendleton Hill (North Stonington) on September 5, 1808, the son of Nathan and Mary Pendleton. He made his living as a merchant in Westerly (and later served as postmaster; state senator 1855-1856, U.S. assistant assessor 1862-1867). He died November 11, 1875 and is buried in River Bend Cemetery, Westerly, RIName/Title
