Gilbert (port captain), the Gilbert Block on West Main Street in Mystic, and of numerous Gilbert Transportation Co. vessels docked in the Mystic River (bark Silicon and schooner Florence Belding identified). Also includes stock information for the company. The Gilbert Transportation Company was established by Capt. Mark L. Gilbert in Mystic in 1906 and was active in the area until 1909.
