Description

Collection of black and white photographs of Carl and Mary Jobe Akeley, including photos from Mary Jobe's expeditions to the Canadian Rockies in the early 1900s and Cark and Mary Jobe's expeditions to the Congo in the 1920s. Also includes a photograph of taxidermized giraffes in the Akeley African Hall of the American Museum of Natural History in New York. Some of the photographs in this collection are reproduction prints of the negatives in the Jim Streeter Collection (2026.037).
