Admin or Biographical History: Anne Meech was born at the Spicer House at Avery Point, Groton on February 4, 1861, the daughter of Noyes Billings Meech and and Susan Spicer Meech. She lived in Groton (at 839 Eastern Point Road, also known as Woodledge) for most of her life and was a graduate of Miss Brown's School and Mt. Holyoke College. She died in Groton on July 13, 1956.
