Black and white photograph, view of the Spicer house (with water tower and barn) on Shennecossett Road from Avery Point, early 1900s. Laborers for Morton F. Plant can be seen in the foreground of the photograph. The Spicer homestead, which ran along Pine Island Bay from the Plant Estate to Jupiter Point, is seen in the background. The property was owned by Capt. William and Minnie Carroll Tuthill Spicer.
