Black and white photograph mounted on board, view of Poquonnock Bridge looking southeast across the Poquonnock River, early 1900s. The old cotton mill/Landphere's mill is visible in the left foreground of the photograph, and was possibly already in use as T.N. Dickinson's Witch Hazel distillery. The Denison Smith House, also known as the mill house, is visible in the center of the photograph. The Poquonnock Bridge Baptist Church is just out of frame on the right of the photograph. Handwritten note on back: "Property of B. Frank Avery, 17 North Road, Poquonnock Bridge, Conn." and "Photo 10 - C.K."Collection
