Burnt Sienna -- 4 Venetian red -- 2 Chinese vermilion -- 4 Rose madder -- 6 Prussian blue -- 2 Cobalt blue -- 6 Ivory black -- 4 My mother will pay for these things and if you will have them sent to 14 E 54th, you will greatly oblige. That is if you go soon to get them. If not until a month or so, I'll write where to send and how to pay for them. I want very much to send something to the American Artists -- And I shall do so (you being good enough to see my picture framed and presented) if I do not fall between the devils of Procrastination and Delay which beset me -- beside that I am under the dominion of the demon that presides of Jacks of ALL Trades, a fate perfectly undeserved, as I am one simply by circumstance, neither inclination nor an ability to play many parts, moving me thereto. Behold my unhappy dilemma. Faithfully, EMT
