General Notes
Note
E.M. Taber's brother, Robert Taber, was a stage actor in the late 19th century. Before his illness, E.M. Taber contributed to set and costume designs for some of his brother's performances and would go see his plays. E.M. Taber made several drawings of Robert Taber in costume, as well as some of his costars. It is likely that this drawing is of an actress from a production that Robert Taber was in.
