Vermont Highlands, Autumn

Painting of a Vermont Landscape

The painting portrays a Vermont mountain landscape with evergreen trees. The landscape is mostly barren, save for the few trees, and the distant, blue mountains, with Camel's Hump in the center of the most distant mountain range. The sky is light blue with some white clouds. There is a faint signature in the lower-left corner that reads: "Dorothea Taber Stafford".
