Holding his pet raccoon is Lawrence Birnschein son of Charlie, and Marcene daughter of Bill Birnschein. The two are in front of Charlie's Service Station 1919-1927 (presently the Chocolate Chicken). George LeMere's barbershop next door was built in 1875 (now part of Harbor View Park). Lawrence died at Pearl Harbor.Photograph Details
