Harvey Haen's Retirement HomeDescription
Harvey and Helen Haen's retirement home at the downtown intersection next to the present Chocolate Chicken. It was at first George LeMere's barber shop. In 1947 a fire consumed much of Herman Birbschein's adjoining garage and the home-barbershop was rebuilt. The Village purchased it and demolished it in 2001 for the south side of Harbor View Park.Photograph Details
