Miniature "Erendira y su Abuela"Entry/Object ID
E-76Description
A miniature scene made of wood, clay and a small mirror, shows three people, a man in a black suit, holding a slip of paper, an old woman, and naked young girl in a wooden bed, covered by a colorful blanket. The box the scene takes place in is red, with blue walls, and white dots along the edges, a black door on the right side. There is also slip of paper along the top of a small mirror on the back wall, with the words, "Erendira y su abuela" in Spanish. Perhaps this is a scene of last rites taking place?Collection
