Description

Large, bottle gourd (Lagenaria siceraria or Calabash gourd) that has been made into a container. Top has been cut off to make a 3.7 cm aperture, possibly painted or discolored around the rim. Gourd is a brownish orange in color. Found in a cave along the Colorado River between El Dorado Canyon and Cottonwood Cove with A-140-144 and A-335.
