Description

Yellow, pink and purple fan. Fiber fan in shape of "X" with woven diamond center. Dyed and natural colored fibers in yellow, purple, and pink colors. Machine sewn diamond trim.

Use

There are many uses for Samoan fans. Typically used as a self cooling system as it is extremely hot in Samoa.

Context

Samoan fans called ili are hand held fans that are used as a self cooling system. Many are woven from plant fiber in a sort of teardrop shape.
