Description

Anoli Kachina created by Samuel Kayqucptewa. It was created in a modern style and was hand carved using native cottonwood root. The bottom is signed "Samuel Kayqucptewa 87." The doll has a conical hat with a green bottom rim, half of it being blue green and the other half is a golden color. The top of the hat has an arrow shaped decoration. The doll has a white face with black markings to make up its face, and two red half circles on either side of its head. It appears to be wearing a tan cloak with some orange and white details. Under the cloak there are many colors painted such as black, blue, green, white, and red. The bottom of the cloak has a red, white, and black trim. The doll is resting on what looks to be a brick building with a door and windows.
