Description

Ekeko figures, represent the Tiwanakan God of abundance of the same name. This god belongs to the culture of the people in the Peruvian and Bolivian Altiplano. Figure A is dressed in an orange suit, wearing black shoes, a red and lime green beanie. His hands are held upward, and his mouth is open in a wide smile. He has a string around his neck containing: $100 bill, green TV, small bag with white little objects, a yellow car, a bag of straws, a bag with a cotton ball, a bag holding a yellow sponge, a bag with red little balls, a bag containing bark, a small clay pot, a bag of confetti, a read heart with "Tu Ame", and an orange house. Figure B is wearing yellow pants, black shoes, and a blue and white top with a yellow tie, and a peach and white beanie. His mouth is open holding a cigarette. Figure B's string around his neck contains: a white and blue house, sewn fabric pouch with a red print designed paper, tied bags of black rocks, tied bag of white rocks, "El Ekeko" large, printed paper folded in half with words and pictures, a sewn navy-blue patch, black tied trash bag, tied bag of torn paper, another tied back of rocks.

Figure A has small scuffs all over, chipped fingertips, and is missing top left tooth (unknown whether missing tooth is deliberate, or it was broken off at some point on accident). Figure B has some dust build up on his face.
