Description

This woven fiber tray made of white ivory tree leaf, pananus leaf, and coconut fibers, has a seven pointed star with tortoise shell and cowrie shells in it's center. The star is encircled by another ring of cowrie shells, which then fans out into a triangular pattern, which then has a fan pattern both in the triangles themselves, and in-between the points.

Notes

The cowrie shells are dirty with dust and yellowed with age, but no other damage is noted. The tortious shell at the center has some light scuffing and scratches, most notably on the bottom.
