Small Ceramic Head

Name/Title

Small Ceramic Head

Entry/Object ID

A-397

Description

A small ceramic head with a beak-like nose and wearing a double headband surmounted by what could be either a hat or horns. He also wears ear spools, though one had been broken off completely. The original red color has been worn away by soil adhered to the surface, but a bit can still be seen across the front of his head band. He has a small hole on the back that is open, perhaps in order to hang him for display or other purposes. The whole bottom left side of his face is chipped off, while the tips of the "horns" are battered. His right ear spool is chipped toward the back.
