Tesla kept a large file on Kinraide, and used his X-Ray screens in his work. Strong wrote to Tesla regarding the patentability of a coil he witnessed in Kinraide's lab. Tesla dismissed the chances of it being novel, and pointed out some flaws - yet it was indeed patented in the United States, Great Britain, and Germany and was the early start of what would become known as "The Kinraide Coil".Collection
