Elkhart County Fair History Museum

On the 24th and 25th, the Agricultural Fair of Elkhart County is to be held at Goshen, it being the first one we supposed that a considerable amount of interest will be manifested and the farmers of the county will be on hand with their stock to compete for the numeral premium offered. We would like to see some of our Kosciusko Farmers there was some of their fine stock, although not entitled to compete for premiums we have no doubt that our neighbors of Elkhart would be glad to see some, of the fine cattle and horses raised in Kosciusko on the ground-- and perhaps the fair at Goshen might induce our Farmers to wake up on the subject, and see what Kosciusko can do in the way of getting up a fair in our own County. From the present appearances we think that our farmers do not manifest sufficient interest on the subject- Kosciusko Republican.
