Description

Gulf Refining Company display at the Century of Progress 1933-34 Chicago World's Fair. This is an interior shot with lots of mechanisms, pipes, dials and shiny cylinders. Four gasoline station pumps with "Gulf" in a circle on top are around a big container with a see-through panel for reading oil level. Various oil using motors are shown on low platforms. On an oil cylinder "GULF 100 MILE AN HOUR MOTOR OIL" and on another cylinder "GULF PRODUCTS HAVE MADE WORLD RECORDS IN AIR ON LAND AND SEA." This is a glossy print mounted on ecru paperboard mat.
