"Community House, Elmhurst, ILL 5019" is printed on the front in black. Card is postmarked "Elmhurst ILL Aug (illegible) AM 1926" and bears a partially-torn green one-cent stamp. Card is addressed in blue ink cursive to "Mrs. E.H. Krueger / 518 Newbury St. / Ripon, Wisconsin" and has message in same cursive "I've got a lot of cards stamped so I that I'd write when I have time. Didn't here from How today. Christmas letter & How's card got here yesterday. Grace got 2 letters and one card today. Weather is fine. / Florence." Card manufacturer is "Wm. G. Hoffman" Chicago. (Note: the Community House was on Church Street, just east of Christ Church (First Congregational).)
