Description

Chicago & North Western Railroad station. Message written in black is "There is room for one more in your collecetion. Alonzo." Writing in red on the back (probably by donor) reads "Depot built in 1862 Northwestern Railroad." (Incidentally, this information is incorrect.) Card is addressed to "Miss Lucy Fischer / Bensenville, Illinois" which leads to the conclusion that the sender is Alonzo Fischer. Double postmark reads "Chicago, ILL DEC 13 1905 9 PM" and "Elmhurst Dec 1905." Card bears a cancelled green one-cent stamp.
