Description

Aerial view of the Century of Progress 1933-34 Chicago World's Fair. In foreground is an octagonal structure with an opening in each side and an open top. Center of photo shows a curved wall and roof of the Electrical Building with its 2 square towers on the lagoon. Across the lagoon are numerous buildings, several tall poles or smokestacks and a white-domed structure. At left edge of photo, along the waterline, are layers of stone blocks and a paved road. Photo is mounted on ecru paperboard mat.
